Learning a new language is difficult? Here is how your subconscious mind has a role to play

Before you complain about why I am not giving you the tip on learning a language, I want you to hear this-

“The superpower of your subconscious mind can do miracles in life that you hardly believe in”

Sounds familiar?

If not yet, Read below -

You must have heard a lot of people talking about ‘ The Super Power of your subconscious mind’. In fact, there is also a book beautifully written by Dr, Joseph Murphy ( Highly recommended) talking about how you can conquer the world and achieve anything that you want if you have control over your minds.

Your subconscious mind makes up 95% of the brainpower.

Incredible right!

There is a superpower within you & your belief is what makes you achieve your goals. There is a saying by Henry Ford that is actually proven and it says,

“ If you think you can or if you think you can’t, you’re right.”

Compared to the conscious mind, our subconscious mind is expanded and has a lot more capacity. The subconscious mind is just like a sponge that takes all the values, beliefs, and attitudes, or whatever you see around yourself in it.

Now, you might wonder what does our subconscious minds have to do with learning the English language. Learning subconsciously means you are having stress — free learning and there is no forgetting curve. It doesn't involve any rote learning of rules, no cross translation of languages, and no thinking and speaking.

Learning a language implicitly or subconsciously is a fascinating method where learning happens spontaneously or without your realization. It is just like how you learned your native language. You did not take any extra coaching or never learned a rule. You just watched people around you & imitated them.

In the same way when you talk to people who are already fluent in English or you listen to a lot of things in your target language, the sounds become familiar to your brain and it starts storing it in its long-term memory. The more you spend time creating an environment around you to speak in English, the more confident you become. Listen to English music, podcast, or indulging yourself in an English-speaking environment.

You don’t need to do something extraordinary. Because if you want to learn a new language, you need to start treating it like your own native language.

That’s how easy it is. It is true that you won't get early results. But you will definitely witness progress once you start doing it.

It is truly said, “ You are, what you believe in”
